Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD) Standard Proficiency Certification Course

ALD’s Standard Level Dental Laser Certificate Program is a peer-reviewed, hands-on training, comprehensive laser certificate course. You’ll gain a strong foundational understanding of laser physics, laser tissue interaction, characteristics of various laser wavelengths, clinical case studies, safety and regulatory information. Adult & Pediatric Certified CPR Course (2 CE)

Thursday, June 17, 2021 3:00 PM-5:00 PM

Instructor: Theresa McCarter, BSDH, RDH

Course Fee: $85, Limited to 36 attendees

Learn the skills needed to respond in an emergency with the help of the American Red Cross. Workshop will divide participants into two groups. One will work on skills while the other takes the written test and then switch when completed.

What to Expect:

  • Learn how to perform compressions and ventilations on an adult, child and infant, using an AED and responding to an obstructive airway emergency
  • Practice skills while being observed by instructors and complete a written test
  • Receive an American Red Cross keychain which holds a clean breathing barrier, gloves and alcohol wipe for future emergencies
